She could walk away easily
what was she searching for.
By the time I turned to look,
I was already thinking of
the way the staircase was much slower, much slower
than the lift.

I was thinking of the slight limp
I walk with. Wasn’t it a great picnic,
we had played cricket on the beach.
Every team I was a part of, did lose
but how I enjoyed it.
