Saying that the sun will surely rise tomorrow,
you’re firing away blindly;
making believe that everyone,
all your friends
are insulated
wearing bullet-proof jackets
and shiny helmets.
But they are not.
They are dying by the minute.
Not even whimpering, not even making a sound.
Like king whales silently dying and sinking to the bottom of the sea
and Greenpeace raising slogans about conservation
and environment protection and other such stuff.
